We're wondering and thinking about this question a lot. Because cats are the most floofy, silly, and goofy-ly cute creatures in existence. And big cats? Well, they're cats, but bigger. But when you think of a tiger, you think of this majestic king of the jungle, an apex predator hiding in the trees to pounce on its prey. When you think of lions, you think of them as kings, as huge danger with an even huge-er mane. When you think of a cheetah, you think of the speed of light that it leaves behind when it runs so fast.

But then… your cat? They're the hunters of hair ties, their throne is your lap, and the fastest they run is when they accidentally knock something out of its place, at 3 AM when they decided to randomly zoomie, and it makes a sudden noise that scares them out of their mind. Now, make all that lovely package bigger. Will they suddenly become the huge, majestic, predatory wild animals that we think of when we hear "big cats"? Or will they just be more of the cats we already know and love? You know, the floofy and silly cat version.

We can't. There's no satisfying explanation for this. Cheetahs can't be big predators when they just sit there, with the biggest, stupidest blep on their face, staring into space like their mind is an empty space when their last remaining brain cells bounce off of. Cheetahs are babies - confirmed.
